As a  top-tier Pakistani actress, Syra Yousuf has performed in a plethora of TV projects for several notable local channels, including ARY Digital, Hum TV,  and Express Entertainment. Starting her acting debut in Hum TV serial of 2011, Mera Naseeb, Syra played the impactful character of Nazia, for which she was nominated as Best New Actress by Pakistan Media Awards. Furthering her career, she played the role of Mariam in the drama series, Mohabbat Rooth Jaye Toh (2011), and Soha in Bilqees Kaur (2012). Both projects received significant critical acclaim for their narratives and cast performances. In 2012, she appeared in the serial Tanhaiyan Naye Silsilay, a sequel of the Pakistani serial "Tanahaiyan" alongside Marina Khan, Badre Khalil, and Behroze Sabzwari. In 2013, she appeared in  the role of Aleena in Darmiyaan and over the next 2 years, she appeared in dramas Ru Baru, Pasheman and Rishta Hai Jaise Khwab Sa.  Her challenging role of Arzoo Daniels, a Christian female cadet inducted into the Pakistan Military Academy amid great societal and financial obstacles,  in recent drama serial Sinf-e-Aahan showcased the true depth and breadth of Syra's on-screen range, talent and tireless work ethic, lauding her much praise from critics and fans alike.
